Welcome to Plug&Play Productions. By commissioning our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions, which are designed to ensure a clear, professional, and collaborative relationship.
1. Services Provided
Plug&Play Productions specialises in the creation, production management, and technical delivery of bespoke entertainment experiences.All services are tailored to each project and are detailed in an agreed project outline prior to commencement.
2. Project Scope and Amendments
A full project brief and scope will be agreed with the client before work begins.
Any changes requested after the project has commenced (including additional requirements or amendments to agreed deliverables) may affect timelines, budgets, and overall delivery, and must be confirmed in writing.
3. Pricing and Payment Terms
• Plug&Play Productions offers payment terms of 30 days following the date an invoice is raised.
• If two or more invoices are paid late by the client, payment terms on future invoices will be reduced to two weeks until further notice.
• If one or more invoices remain unpaid, Plug&Play Productions reserves the right to cease supply of services or products and remove any supplied products, objects, personnel or services from the job site.
• Alterations requested to an invoice more than one week after it has been issued will not affect the original payment due date. The invoice will still be payable within 30 days of the original issue date.
• A standard working day is defined as up to 10 hours. If work continues beyond 10 hours in a single block, overtime will be charged at an agreed hourly rate. If a project extends more than one hour past midnight following a single 10-hour continuous workday, a second day rate will be charged for overnight work.
4. Intellectual Property
All creative concepts, designs, and materials remain the intellectual property of Plug&Play Productions until full payment has been received.Upon full payment, ownership of the final deliverables (excluding any third-party licensed material) is transferred to the client.
We retain the right to showcase completed work within our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing timely feedback, approvals, and any required materials to avoid unnecessary delays.
Clear and responsive communication is essential to maintain agreed timelines.
6. Travel and Accommodation
Where a project requires staff to travel outside of Manchester, or necessitates an overnight stay, the following conditions apply:
• A single, individual hotel room must be provided per team member at the client’s expense.
• Where required, Plug&Play Productions may arrange accommodation and pass the cost onto the client via invoice.
• For flights exceeding four (4) hours, bookings must be made in Business Class or Premium Economy.
• For hotels where the walking distance exceeds 15 minutes from the site, taxi or public transport costs will be invoiced in addition.
• Per diems of £30 + VAT per day will be charged for overnight stays outside of Manchester.
7. Chargeable Items
• Standard class travel will be charged between the worker’s home address and the project site unless otherwise agreed.
• Delivery and collection charges for equipment will be agreed in writing and invoiced separately.
• Tasks or services beyond the original agreed scope may incur an additional fee, confirmed in writing prior to delivery.
• All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT. A 20% VAT charge will be applied unless otherwise stated.
8. Booking Cancellations
• Cancellations must be made in writing via email to [Insert your email address].
• If a booking is cancelled within 24 hours or less before the project start time, the full project fee remains payable.
• If Plug&Play Productions must withdraw from a project due to unsafe working conditions, threatening or abusive behaviour, or failure to meet our terms, the full project fee remains payable.
• If transport arranged by the production is missed for reasons outside of Plug&Play Productions’ control, the full fee will still be payable, and replacement transport must be arranged at the client’s expense.
9. Force Majeure
Plug&Play Productions shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemics, labour disputes, supplier failure, natural disasters, or changes in law.
In such cases, all parties shall work in good faith to reschedule or adjust project deliverables accordingly.
10. Confidentiality
All sensitive client information will be treated as confidential and will not be shared without written permission.
We expect the same courtesy with respect to our proprietary materials, processes, and creative assets.
11. Liability
While we deliver all services with professional care and attention, Plug&Play Productions cannot be held liable for indirect losses, delays caused by third parties, or unforeseen circumstances outside of our control.
12. Post-Project Support
We offer flexible ongoing support packages, including troubleshooting, updates, and additional consultations.
Post-project services are available either on a retainer basis or as individual support sessions, subject to separate agreement.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
