Virgin Voyages: Lights, Camera, Drag!

Lights, Camera, Drag! grew out of a pitch deck we developed for new Virgin Voyages production shows earlier in the year. By December, we were onboard Scarlet Lady delivering the first concept to come to life.

The premise: The Diva, the ship's resident drag queen, acts out iconic films live on stage with real-time video integration, visual gags, costumes and audience interaction. Simple on paper. Technically complex in practice.

We wrote the script, programmed the QLab show file, edited all audio and used Unreal Engine for the first time to create dynamic video content. Studio workshops in Orlando refined the material before we delivered the final installation during Scarlet Lady's dry dock in Palermo.

Our sixth production for Virgin Voyages, and the first to come directly from our own original pitch.
